Alright, we have to tell you right now that this is about a mafia but Snowfall is very different from series like El Chapo, Narcos, or Breaking Bad. While it shows the mafia boss and members’ lives, the show gives us a unique point of view of the ’80s.
During the time of where Snowfall is set, it was just the toddler years of cocaine – back when no one really knew how much of an impact it would make on the world. Instead of having a storyline similar to the Escobars, this gives us a real-life portrayal of individuals from all walks of like that were involved in this drug epidemic.

During the 80s, the crack cocaine epidemic was gaining its momentum and Snowfall is set when police officers along with other persons of authority were just starting to get concerned. Franklin Saint is our main protagonist, he is an entrepreneur who just wants to make a couple of bucks, to make a living.
Here comes a CIA officer named Teddy Mcdonald. He just found out that the drug-funded surgeries he’s had have some bizarre twists. You know what they say, getting involved with drugs in any way is like making a deal with the devil. After Snowfall’s third season, we witness Franklin trying to start a new life. Will he be able to do it without any strings attached? In exchange for what?

The fourth season of Snowfall was announced within just a few months after the season 3 finale and was given the official go signal on August 6, 2019. Initially, the creators planned to have the fourth installation by this year. However, due to the current global pandemic, filming was put to a halt. Heck, most of our lives were put on hold! Because of this, Snowfall Season 4 should be airing by next year.
