See into the future – know when the next season of the apocalyse series is going to be released, what the plot is going to be, and who’s going to be in it!
The star-studded sci-fi drama series is created by Steven Knight and directed by Francis Lawrence. In the series, we see a futuristic world where we, humans, are blind and have minimal knowledge of what happened in the past. See first graced our screens on November 1, 2019 and gained quite the audience. Hence, the quick renewal.
To be frank, there were mixed reviews on the series. Some critics love it as much as we do while some, not so much. They say it’s the lack of weight that makes See unworthy of its hour-long episodes but all in all, everyone is applauding Jason Momoa’s performance.
Unless you’re living under a rock, you probably know Jason Momoa. For those who don’t, he’s famous for playing Khal Drogo in the award-winning series Game of Thrones and Aquaman.
Plot of See Season 2

The first season of See ended with a bang, that’s for sure, teeing up big power clashes in the upcoming season.
The first season of See left us with quite the power struggle. We also saw the reunion of Maghara and Queen Kane after years. Despite Maghara’s growing hatred for Queen Kane, we still saw how taking control of the Witchfinder army after Tamacti Jun’s death happened. However, something seems wrong – like that was so easy! We have this hunch that Tamacti Jun did not really die and we’ll be seeing him in the upcoming season.
That’s not all! The biggest twist we saw last season was how Haniwa and Kofun were sold to the Witchfinders in exchange for keeping the sighted sanctuary a secret. Come on, they were just reunited with their dad!
Of course, it was up to Baba Voss to save the twins, right?
In the upcoming season, we are expecting to focus on two storylines. One is Baba Voss trying to save his adoptive daughter. The other is Maghara and Queen Kane rebuilding the army to destroy the Payan Kingdom.
We also think that a clash between these two parties is inevitable especially with Baba Voss thinking that Maghara is dead. The revelation that she’s now working with the enemy should make things even more thrilling.
The Cast of See Season 2
Up until today, we still have no word on which cast members will be returning for See Season 2. However, we’re confident that these characters will make an appearance:

- Alfre Woodard as Paris
- Nesta Cooper as Haniwa
- Archie Madekwe as Kofun
- Sylvia Hoeks as Queen Kane
- Franz Drameh as Boots

And, since we have the hunch that Tamacti Jun isn’t dead, we’re also expecting him to show up.
So, When Will See Season 2 Be Released?
Because there is no trailer yet, we are assuming that the second season of See will premiere late 2021.
Because of Apple TV+’s pattern, the possible release of See Season 2 may be a disappointment to fans who got used to it. However, we should remind you that a lot of shows experienced delays in production because of the pandemic. Let’s just look at the bright side!
We are still going to see Jason Momoa as Baba Voss for another season!
