The fans have expressed their love for Baby Yoda but we’re pretty sure that besides him and Mando, there are other characters that you would love to see in The Mandalorian Season 2. After the recent announcement from the Star Wars official Twitter account (@starwars), people replied to the thread one-by-one expressing themselves.
Some of the common tweets in the thread were about Cara Dune being a feminist legend, conspiracy theories on how the background revealed the characters’ fate, and how they hope certain characters would be introduced. We have rounded up the tweets about the characters fans want to be introduced and it boiled down to these five:
Sasha Banks playing Sabine Wren
If you have watched The Mandalorian Season 2 trailer, you would have caught a glimpse of the infamous Sasha Banks. In the trailer, she is seen clad in a dark cloak and vanishes into thin air. Fans have been in the talks of which character this professional wrestler will be playing – some say she’s going to play Ahsoka but based on how she’s dressed in the trailer, she might be playing Sabine Wren.
Rosario Dawson playing Ahsoka Tano
Have you watched Star Wars: The Clone Wars? If you have, then you witnessed how Ahsoka Tano started out as a character that fans weren’t as fond of but eventually got used to and liked. The trailer’s Easter Eggs were pretty much telling everyone that in this season, the plot will be exploring the mythos of the Jedi. Given that theory, introducing a known Jedi to the plot, one who will most likely teach Mando and Baby Yoda everything they would need to know pieces everything. Right? It seems like it fits.
Timothy Olyphant playing Cobb Vanth
In an Instagram story, Timothy Olyphant was seen to be wearing what seemed like Boba Fett’s armor. As expected, the fans quickly jumped to conclusion that he will be playing the famous ranger. It’s not until a few months ago that more hints were dropped and that Olyphant will be playing a lesser-known character, Cobb Vanth.
Cobb Vanth was a slave years before he became sheriff of Tatooine.
Temuera Morrison playing Boba Fett
After playing characters closely related to Boba Fett, Temuera Morrison seems to have gotten the role he’s meant to play – Boba Fett! I mean, he played Jango Fett (Boba’s father) and voiced Boba in the Empire Strikes Back DVD.
Katee Sackhoff playing Bo-Katan Kryze
Famous within the Star Wars fandom for voicing Bo-Katan Kryze, Katee Sackhoff might have just gotten the role for The Mandalorian!
Bo-Katan Kryze was initially a part of the Death Watch before becoming the Mand’alor. With Death Watch being a famous rebel group in the galaxy back then, her involvement was never confirmed or denied.
