Disney+ Gives “WandaVision” A Theme Song By Frozen Songwriters

In the most recent trailer that was released by Disney+ for “WandaVision“, we see the titular characters enter the married life on a great note.

Questions such as “what’s next” and “are they really happy?” were the most frequently asked and sad to say, we will only find out once the show starts airing on January 15, 2021.

According to sources, “WandaVision” is to feature a mix between classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the two characters, Wanda and Vision, come to conclusion that their suburban lifestyle is not as it seems.

In the latest trailer of the Disney+ series, we see Wanda Maximoff (played by Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (played by Paul Bettany) give the audience a word of caution as they are far from the normal married couple.

Besides not being too showy of their superpowers, Wanda points out that she and her husband lack wedding rings and a theme song.

Cue in the “WandaVision” theme song composred by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, both of whom were responsible for the songs in the animated Disney film “Frozen.”

Needless to say, the chimes really resemble that of a 50s sitcom’s. The “WandaVision” theme is to celebrate their new life together but of course, the cheery tune transforms into a chilling one as weird moments appear in the trailer.

Notice that as the music gets distorted, so does the couple’s backgrounds such as neighbors giving the heroes odd looks, bizarre creatures try to take over their quiet suburban life.

“This place, I don’t understand what’s happening,” Wanda says.

The show will be directed by Matt Shakman with Jac Schaeffer is head writer. Kat Dennings, Randall Park and Kathryn Hahn also star in the new series set to premiere on Jan. 15.

“And they lived happily ever after,” Vision tells his wife after, the footage briefly goes black.
