In the Riverdale universe, the characters mourn the sudden loss of Fred Andrews. In the real world, the cast and crew mourn their friend’s passing. The love that each person held for Perry is very well reflected throughout the entire episode. Tears start coming from the first moments and don’t stop through the rest of the hour.
Another poignant revelation in this episode was Shannen Doherty’s appearance. Doherty is one of Perry’s former co-stars in Beverly Hills 90210.
