Cobra Kai originally debuted on YouTube until it was acquired recently by Netflix. Season 1 and 2 of the series were then re-released on the streaming platform last August 28. The Karate Kid spinoff stars William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, Peyton List and Martin Kove. Netflix confirmed a third season for the show with a release date of January 8, 2021.

Last week, Netflix announced that Ratched, starring Sarah Paulson, garnered 48 million views over its first 28 days of release. It was accorded as the top original series of the quarter, topping The Umbrella Academy (43 million) and Lucifer (38 million).

On the film side, Enola Holmes, starring Millie Bobby Brown accumulated 76 million household views during the first 28 days.

Enola Holmes premiered on Netflix on September 23. It features the titular character Enola, Sherlock’s precocious sister, who searches for her missing mother while outsmarting her overconfident brother. The film also stars Sam Claflin, Adeel Akhtar, Fiona Shaw, Frances de la Tour, Louis Partridge, Burn Gorman, Susan Wokoma, with Henry Cavill and Helena Bonham Carter.

Other Netflix standouts are films Project Power and The Old Guard that brought in 75 and 78 million viewers respectively. It is worth noting though that The Old Guard premiered on July 10, while Project Power debuted on August 14. This means that Enola Holmes’ numbers are more impressive due to its fast accumulation of 70 million viewers in a shorter period.

On the other hand, two most watched original feature documentaries of the quarter are American Murder: The Family Next Door (52 million views over four weeks) and The Social Dilemma (38 million).
