HBO’s “Return to Hogwarts” Will Reunite the Cast of “Harry Potter”

It’s a “Harry Potter” reunion! HBO Max recently announced that their upcoming special, “Return to Hogwarts” will reunite Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and more for the 20th anniversary of the franchise’s first film, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”.

Along with the announcement, HBO Max released an official teaser of the special on their YouTube.

“Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson join filmmaker Chris Columbus and other esteemed cast members across all eight Harry Potter films as they travel back to Hogwarts for the first time to celebrate the anniversary of the franchise’s first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, which premiered 20 years ago today,” the description says.

“The retrospective special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will tell an enchanting making-of story through all-new in-depth interviews and cast conversations, inviting fans on a magical first-person journey through one of the most beloved film franchises of all time,” HBO Max adds.

The special is set to celebrate and honor the making of the iconic franchise as well as the incredible impact it has made on fans around the world. Other cast members will make an appearance at the reunion, including Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Gary Oldman and more.

“Return to Hogwarts” will air on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, on the streaming platform, as well as on Cartoon Network and TBS sometime in Spring 2022.

Naturally, fans of the franchise are excited, to say the least.
