Listen up all you cool cats and kittens, “Tiger King 2” has officially made its debut on Netflix today. The early-pandemic TV phenomenon has as much drama as the first installment, as the season focuses on what happened to Carole Baskin’s late husband as well as Joe Exotic’s life in prison.

While the whole story of the zoo saga seemed to wrap up nicely in its first season, Netflix revealed that there’s much more to the story.

“With Joe Exotic behind bars and Carole Baskin closing in on ownership of his disreputable zoo, the Emmy-nominated saga continues its twisted course with Tiger King 2 as newfound revelations emerge on the motivations, backstories, and secrets of America’s most notorious big cat owners,” Netflix said.

“Old enemies and frenemies, including Jeff Lowe, Tim Stark, Allen Glover, and James Garretson return for another season of murder, mayhem, and madness. Thought you knew the whole story? Just you wait,” the streaming platform added.

The streaming giant dropped an official trailer for “Tiger King 2” in late October, telling viewers that they’ve “only scratched the surface.”

The comments were filled with mixed opinions for the most part, as one viewer said, “Tiger King Season 2: something nobody asked for, but everyone is going to watch,” as another wrote, “Ah yes, let’s ignore Joe’s animal abuse allegations and paint it in a light so that it’s only about hiring a hitman. Never saw any documentary series so one-sided in my whole life.”

Based on viewers’ reactions to the trailer, it’ll be interesting to see the world’s reaction to the highly-anticipated installment. So, has “Tiger King 2” lived up to all of the hype? You be the judge. Stream “Tiger King 2” on Netflix today.
