In the show’s previous season, we only had seven episodes due to the pandemic. The story followed Lyra (who is played by Dafne Keen), a seemingly ordinary girl who happens to be a brave one from another world.

The story began with Lyra, devastated over her best friend’s death and goes on a journey in a weird and mysterious abandoned place. She meets Will (played by Amir Wilson) a boy from our world who is running from a dark past.

They begin to realize that their destinies are tied and one of their goals is to reunite Will with his father. However, working towards that gets a bit more difficult as a war begins to brew in the abandoned city.
