Elizabeth Debicki Will Play Princess Diana on ‘The Crown’ Seasons 5 & 6

If you’re a fan of the Netflix series, The Crown, you’re in luck. The TV series has been renewed for a fifth and sixth season, and it even has new cast members that will join. Specifically, Elizabeth Debicki will play Princess Diana on The Crown seasons 5 and 6, which are said to be the most dramatic chapters of the show.

Also joining Debicki in the upcoming seasons is Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, and Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip. While Emma Corrin plays Princess Diana in the fourth season, Debicki will take on the part for future seasons afterward. 

According to Debicki’s Twitter, she is grateful to be included in the upcoming seasons of the Netflix show. Debicki said, “It is my true privilege and honor to be joining this masterful series, which has had me absolutely hooked from episode one.”

After making a name for herself from her performance in Steve McQueen’s “Widows,” the 29-year-old actress only continued to add performances to her resume. Some other TV shows and movies that you may recognize her from includes “Tenet”, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”, “The Great Gatsby”, and “The Burnt Orange Heresy”.“The Crown” has found its Princess Diana, making for more drama-filled, thrilling episodes to come.
