Taylor Swift’s new music video for “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version)” is full of star power. Not only does it feature the singer herself, but Miles Teller made his debut as the groom, where he can’t seem to get Swift off his mind at his wedding to another woman. Plus, the music video was also directed by Blake Lively, a well-known actress and Swift’s long-time friend.
The song and music video feature the subject of her recently-released short film “All Too Well” and ex-boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal. The song includes many jabs are Gyllenhaal within lyrics like “I bet you think about me when you’re out/At your cool indie music concerts every week,” and, “I bet you think about me when you say ‘oh my God, she’s insane, she wrote a song about me'”.
The music video for “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) was highly-anticipated by her fans, so much so that it received 500,000 views in its first minute of release on YouTube. Naturally, fans flooded the Twitterverse with memes, mostly centered around Gyllenhaal.
