“The Real Housewives of Dubai”, Bravo’s first international edition of the “Real Housewives” franchise, has been greenlit to premiere next year on the popular network. Andy Cohen, the show’s executive producer, made the announcement on NBC’s “Today” Monday morning.
“Everything’s bigger in Dubai,” Cohen said in a press release. “I couldn’t be more excited to launch Bravo’s first international ‘Housewives’ series in a city I’ve been fascinated by for years, with an outstanding group of friends as our guides.”

Following the typical theme of the other shows in the series, “The Real Housewives of Dubai” will follow the relationships, careers, and luxury lifestyles of a group of women in the United Arab Emirates. Fans of the franchise seem to be over the moon about the announcement, to say the least.
“‘The Real Housewives of Dubai are going to make ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ look middle class,” a fan tweeted, as another wrote, “‘The Real Housewives of Dubai’ have to be holding solid gold bars, right?”.
A release date for the show has not been announced, but we know it will air on Bravo sometime in 2022. As for the cast of the show, it looks like we’ll have to wait and see who will star in the newly-announced addition to the franchise.
