“Seinfeld” is Finally Available to Stream on Netflix

In case you haven’t seen it trending on Twitter or being covered on your local news station, “Seinfeld” has come to Netflix, and the internet is freaking out. The hit sitcom’s arrival to the streaming platform has been a long time coming, as Netflix paid a whopping $500 million to secure global rights to the show in 2019.

All 180 episodes across nine seasons are now available for your binge-watching pleasure, making it the perfect way to start off the weekend. Jerry Seinfeld shared his thoughts on the show’s release to the streaming giant.

“Larry [David] and I are enormously grateful to Netflix for taking this chance on us. It takes a lot of guts to trust two schmucks who literally had zero experience in television when we made this thing,” said Seinfeld. “We really got carried away, I guess. I didn’t realize we made so many of them. Hope to recoup god knows how many millions it must have taken to do. But worth all the work if people like it. Crazy project.”
