Netflix Confirms Renewal of “You” for Season 4

The third season of “You”, Netflix’s hit thriller series, is now available for your binge-watching pleasure on the streaming platform. As if that isn’t already exciting enough, Netflix has announced that another season has been given the green light for production.

The streaming giant made the announcement on their Twitter for the series two days before the release of season 3, writing that “YOU Season 4 is in the [body] bag.”

Fans flooded the comments with their overwhelmingly positive reactions, as one user wrote, “Season 4 already??? YA’LL COOKING,” as another said, “AM I READING THIS RIGHT”.

Netflix has even released a short video announcing the renewal of season 4 on their official YouTube channel.

The fourth installment of the series was filmed immediately after the third season wrapped up production, meaning the story will continue, no matter what season 3 holds. While we don’t know exactly when the fourth and final season of “You” is set to release, it’s been speculated that it will debut in late 2022, based on the timeline of previous seasons.

“Reading Caroline’s novel, Greg and I were instantly obsessed with Joe Goldberg and his twisted world view. And it’s been thrilling to watch Penn bring Joe to creepy yet compelling life. We’re deeply grateful that Netflix has shown You such monumental support, and that people around the world have enjoyed watching Joe really get it all very wrong over the past 3 seasons,” said Sera Gamble, writer and producer of the show, “The whole “You” team is excited to explore new, dark facets of love in season 4″.
