The show that ruled the pandemic is back with a second season. Netflix has announced a sequel to the hit show “Tiger King”, titled “Tiger King 2”. While we don’t know much about the second installment, Netflix promises “just as much mayhem and madness” as the first season, according to their announcement tweet.

Unsurprisingly, Carole Baskin had something to say about the announcement.
“I don’t know how they put out a “Tiger King 2” when Joe Schreibvogel’s [aka Joe Exotic] in jail and I’m refusing to be played again,” Baskin wrote. “Rebecca Chaiklin [director of “Tiger King”] said she wanted to ‘clear the air’ about what they did to me in “Tiger King”. I told her to lose my number. There is no explanation for such a betrayal and false portrayal.”
Baskin has a point, though, as many fans are wondering how the show will play out with Joe Exotic still in federal prison for hiring a hitman to kill Baskin. Exotic has released a statement about “Tiger King 2”, saying that the season will be just as shocking as the first one.
All I can say is you all are never going to believe what evidence @JohnPhillips and Amy Hanna have in their possession to expose this all. You think Tiger King was shocking, Tiger King 2 will floor you… pic.twitter.com/pvCeAH2FQW

Netflix hasn’t announced an official release date for “Tiger King 2”, but it has been said that the program will come to the streaming platform during 2021. For now, all you cool cats and kittens will have to wait patiently for more information.
