WandaVision Releases 2nd Trailer Showing The Return Of Mind Stone

WandaVision is just weeks away from launching as the first Marvel Cinematic Universe show on Disney+. Ahead of its release, Marvel unveiled a new trailer revealing the return of the ‘mind stone’ in what seemed like a warped reality. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany return as Wanda and Vision in the series, following their last appearances in Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War, respectively.

As the upcoming premiere draws closer, Marvel has been actively backing up promotions with multiple posters teasing about the show. However, its plot remains intact, especially as to how Vision appears to still be alive following his death during Infinity War. The previous trailer seemingly hinted that Vision might actually be dead. Now, the new trailer shows the destruction of the mind stone once again.

In this newly revealed Marvel Studios trailer for WandaVision, Wanda envisions her new suburban life with Vision. The footage, packed with new delightful scenes, includes features of the familiar MCU characters who will appear in the series.

Wanda is also seen watching the mind stone exploding again, which fans assumed was a result of her processing Vision’s loss. While it was reason enough to believe why Wanda created an alternative reality, there still remains to be a mystery. In the last seconds of the trailer, a voice speaking to her suggests that she might not totally be in control. It sets up a storyline for the two Avengers to fight and protect their current home, wherever it might be.

What else can we expect from WandaVision?

With so many questions still left unanswered, fans will likely have to wait until WandaVision’s premiere in January. Marvel Studios has now released two full trailers for the show and the level of mystery just got even higher. The new trailer showed more of what’s in store for the series, only to keep fans wanting more of its actual plot.

Clearly, a lot of information is still under wraps and Marvel hopes to keep them sealed until WandaVision is out. Hopefully, Marvel unveils more promotional materials before the series premiere so that viewers can connect the fragmented subplots.

WandaVision will exclusively stream on Disney+ beginning January 15.
