James Gunn’s “Peacemaker”, “Suicide Squad” Spinoff Series Adds Four Cast Members

HBO Max and James Gunn are working together to make a “Suicide Squad” spinoff series entitled “Peacemaker.”

The show has recently added four other members to their cast and they are:

In the show, we will be exploring John Cena‘s character from the upcoming Warner Bros. movie entitled “Suicide Squad.” It will be released on August 6, 2021, which will also be streaming through HBO Max.

Peacemaker is a guy who will stop at nothing to achieve peace – no matter how many people he has to kill.

Previously, “Peacemaker” producers announced other series regulars such as John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Chris Conrad, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick.

James Gunn is writing all eight episodes of “Peacemaker” and will direct most of them, including the pilot. Along with Gunn, Peter Safran will also serve as the executive producer while Cena is the co-executive producer.
