Marvel Studios to Launch Four More Series with Disney+

Disney+ has been doing a great job of expanding with Marvel Studios as they are launching new television series like “Ironheart”, “Armor Wars”, “Secret Invasion” and “Moon Knight.”

We’re going to be seeing more Don Cheadle as he returns as James Rhodes (aka War Machine) in “Armor Wars”. Dominique Thorne will play genius inventor Riri Williams in “Ironheart”, Samuel L. Jackson is back as Nick Fury while Captain Marvel’s Ben Mendelsohn returns as the Skrull Talos in “Secret Invasion” and “Moon Knight” is a series about another complex vigilante.

Thorne who is also the star of “If Beale Street Could Talk” will become the first Black female lead in the Marvel Universe series. She will be playing Williams, also known as Ironheart, and created the most technologically-advanced suit since Iron Man.

“Moon Knight” will be directed by Mohamed Diab and will be about a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The hero will have multiple identities who happen to be distinct characters.

According to Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, “One of the best things about expanding the MCU to Disney+ is that our team at Marvel Studios is finally able to do some of the things that we always wanted to do but didn’t quite have the right outlet for.”

He also let us in on a little secret. Feige said that “Armor Wars” has most of Tony Stark’s worst fears coming true. “It’s what happens when his tech falls into the wrong hands,” he said.
