Henry Cavill’s Injury Isn’t Stopping “The Witcher” Production

You know what they say, the show must go on! “The Witcher” crew isn’t stopping the cameras from rolling even if Henry Cavill is injured.

Production is still in full swing with or without Geralt of Rivia.

Cavill sustained a minor leg muscle injury during a shoot in Arborfield Studios, west of London.

Cavill will be staying on the sidelines for quite some time. He will, however, be present in “The Witcher” set. In respect for the holidays, all productions are scheduled to go on a holiday break sometime this month.

According to sources, Henry Cavill hurt his leg while working at a height of 20ft, filming on an assault course. Not to worry, our beloved Geralt of Rivia was wearing a safety harness.

If you’re wondering why “The Witcher”‘s second season is taking incredibly long, here’s why. Production has been suspended twice.

The first shutdown was in March when actor Kristofer Hivju tested positive for the virus – the pause lasted up until to mid-August since the United Kingdom went into lockdown.

The next shutdown was in November when multiple cast members tested positive of coronavirus.

To appease all “The Witcher” fans, here’s the show’s official Christmas video:
