Have a Better Sense of Self with “Headspace Guide to Meditation” by Netflix

2020 is the year where self-care is deemed essential which is why Netflix has partnered with Headspace.

They will be releasing a three-part original series in 2021 that is centered on self-care and promoting better mental health. It starts with an espidoes entitles “Headspace Guide to Meditation” which will be coming out on January 1, 2021.

The streaming giant will follow up with “Headspace Guide to Sleep” and another interactive experience.

This venture for wellness was announced by Brandon Rieff, the vice president of Netflix, along with Headspace co-founder and former Buddhist monk Andy Puddicombe.

The first installation of the self-care series is set to explore the basics of meditation and expound on how it could help us be “in the now” and less distracted in our day-to-day lives.

As the series goes on, Puddicombe will take the viewers through the science and, of course, the benefits behind meditating.

Each episode is going to be twenty minutes long and will showcase a different technique in meditating – shifting your focus, sleep, letting go – and ends with a guided session at the end of each chapter.

The series is produced by Vox Media Studios. It provides a moment of peace and quiet while showing how meditation can be easy and accessible.
