A.P. Bio Renewed For a Fourth Season By Peacock

Peacock has announced the renewal for comedy show, “A.P. Bio,” for Season 4.

The NBCUniversal streaming service confirmed this news on Thursday. According to their statement, the fourth season of A.P. Bio will be containing eight episodes and should start airing some time in 2021.

Here’s the announcement video:

NBC was the initial home of the comedy show but was cancelled after two seasons. Fortunately, Peacock picked up “A.P. Bio” for a third season which debuted back in September.

According to creator/writer/executive producer Mike O’Brien, “Everyone involved is so excited to do more episodes.”

He also expressed his gratitude for the support of everyone by saying, “We’re so thankful to Peacock and everyone who watched! Season 3 was the most fun we’ve had. I want to dig even deeper into the main characters and also keep messing with the sitcom format.”

The cast includes Glenn Howerton (from “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia”) as Harvard philosophy scholar Jack Griffin. His character lost his chance at a dream job which is why he returned to Toledo, Ohio to work as an Advanced Placement biology teacher in Whitlock High Shool.

Although he made it clear to the people involved that he didn’t want to teach A.P. Bio, he soon realizes that he’s in a room full of brilliant students. Of course, Jack takes the road less-traveled by using the kids for his own benefit,

The series also stars Patton Oswalt, Mary Sohn, Lyric Lewis, Jean Villepique and Paula Pell.
