The Walking Dead Gets an Extension on Season 10

Put on your hiking boots on, we’ll be running from zombies longer! The Walking Dead Season 10 just got extended.

For years, the AMC show has been thrilling us with intense encounters with zombies and making us cry with every character’s storyline. As the show approaches its final episodes, AMC decided to grant the fans’ wishes and extend for a few more episodes.

AMC / The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead has announced that six more episodes will be added to its tenth season. The first of the six is set to air on February 28. AMC+ will have the new episodes earlier before their linear debuts.

The network also released synopses for each new episode. Here they are:

EPISODE 1017 – Home Sweet Home

Maggie has returned but with a story she isn’t ready to share with the others. Especially when her past starts catching up to her. Negan will be in danger! Daryl and Maggie will be fighting an invisible and unknown threat.

EPISODE 1018 – Find Me

Daryl and Carol’s little adventure takes a turn for the worse when they come across an old cabin. He starts having flashbacks to when he left the group after Rick’s disappearance.

EPISODE 1019 – One More

Gabriel and Aaron are searching for food and supplies to bring back to Alexandria. In this episode, little inconveniences will lead to bigger tragedies. Faith will be broken and optimism will become fragmented.

EPISODE 1020 – Splinter

Ezekiel, Eugene, Yumiko, and Princess get captured and separated from the group. Princess starts struggling with her traumatic past and will be trying to escape in ANY way with the help of Ezekiel.

EPISODE 1021 – Diverged

Daryl and Carol go their separate ways with each tapping into their individual survival modes. Will this help mend their friendship or just distance them further from each other?

EPISODE 1022 – “Here’s Negan”

Carol brings Negan with her on a journey, hoping to decrease the tension. Negan starts reflecting on the events that landed him in this spot and comes to a conclusion about his future.
