The Flight Attendant Release Date, Cast, Plot & Where To Watch

It seems like platforms have been producing a lot of mini-series lately. First, it was Queen’s Gambit and now it’s The Flight Attendant.

Since making her mark as Penny in Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco has landed the main role of Cassandra Bowden in what seems to be HBO MAX’s big hit.

In this article, we will be talking about everything you need to know about The Flight Attendant – plot, cast, and possible release date.

Plot of The Flight Attendant

HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant is a dark comedy thriller that is based on a 2018 New York Times best-seller. The book is also entitled The Flight Attendant and is written by Chris Bohjalian.

The plot revolves around a cabin crew named Cassie as she tries to recall the events of a night she doesn’t remember. Like, zero memory.

The story jumps off with Cassie waking up in the wrong bed of a wrong hotel. She notices that she’s in Dubai and a dead body is laying beside her.

Did we also tell you that she’s badly hungover?

She then informs the police about the dead body and rejoins her fellow crew members on a flight back to New York City. As she lands, Cassie is met by FBI agents who is bombarding her with questions about her most recent layover.

The Cast of The Flight Attendant

Besides the voluptuous and quirky Kaley Cuoco, The Flight Attendant has a star-studded cast.

So, When Will Be The Flight Attendant Be Released?

Because of the ongoing pandemic, HBO has not yet released an official date as to when The Flight Attendant will start airing.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic shook the world, the cast and crew of The Flight Attendant were busy shooting. Rumor has it that they were able to finish shooting six episodes before March.

If you haven’t noticed, most of the television and movie productions stopped on March.

According to Steve Yockey who is the executive producer and co-showrunner of The Flight Attendant, they are “looking to get back up and running at the end of August.” It is very likely that they haven’t resumed filming yet because of the virus being very much out of there.

Yockey also said that they are “all feeling very positive about it.” He also expressed concern for everyone’s well-being as he disclosed in an interview that “the health and safety of our cast and crew are the top priority.”

We think that the earliest we will be seeing The Flight Attendant is this fall.

Where Can I Watch Episodes of The Flight Attendant When They Air?

We expect to see The Flight Attendant on HBO Max but other than that, we don’t see HBO giving other platforms the right. Especially if they think the show is going to be a massive hit.
