It’s about sportsmanship, camaraderie, and trying not to manage your anger issues. Ted Lasso gives us that perfect mix of reality and exaggerated comedy that we, as viewers, love eating up! The show’s a ray of sunshine in this dark and jaded world and by the end of the first season, Ted’s optimism has won over its viewers and most of his team members.

Time indeed does fly when your having fun because the show’s first season went by all too quickly! Lucky you, we’re here to fill you in on everything you need to know about Ted Lasso Season 2.

Plot of Ted Lasso Season 2

Ted Lasso’s first season was pretty powerful. Here’s the trailer, just in case you need a quick refresher:

The season finale gave Ted and Richmond to re-align their priorities while giving their relationship a quick reset.

Richmond loses the Manchester match in a heartbreaker which may or may not taint the club’s status. Quite frankly, we don’t understand much on how this British sport does its ranks. However, according to Google, it basically means that everyone on the Richmond team need to work hard to regain whatever ranking they lost in their last match.

Unexpectedly, Rebecca didn’t fire Ted. Instead, she told him that there will be a lot to do moving forward.

The Cast of Ted Lasso Season 2

Creators of Ted Lasso hasn’t confirmed which cast members will be returning to the show for next seasons but we’re hoping that a large portion of the main cast will be back.

So, When Will Be Ted Lasso Season 2 Be Released?

The showrunners and producers of the show struck while the iron was hot and renewed the show early into its run. Last August, Ted Lasso did not have that much of a fan base but maybe they calculated everything and predicted that the show will be a massive hit!

On top of that, the show has also been renewed for a third season. Maybe they can’t get enough of the adorable, quirky puns?

According to Brett Goldstein, who plays Richmond Roy and is also one of the show’s writers, him and the other writers have already started writing the next season. When asked about possible spoilers, he decided not to disclose anything.

Nick Mohammed who plays Nate in Ted Lasso shared that if the global pandemic loosens up, they should start shooting early next year. Again, the main priority of the show is everyone’s safety.

Where Can I Watch the New Episodes of Ted Lasso When They Air?

Right now, all Ted Lasso episodes are exclusive to Apple TV+ but we’re hoping that the show branches out to different streaming platforms to cater to more viewers.
