Save By The Bell Channel Launched Ahead Of Reboot Premiere

Peacock launches a free Saved By The Bell channel on November 16, ahead of the reboot series premiere. It features all the original episodes of the show and films created under its name.

Saved By The Bell, one of the popular teenage sitcoms of the ‘90s, ran for four successful seasons on NBC. It spawned two spin-offs namely Saved By The Bell: The College Years and Saved By The Bell: The New Class. Its proven well-favored reception also led to a pair of made-for-television films.

As per Deadline, Peacock will make Saved By The Bell channel available to its viewers on November 16 for free. The channel contains a catalog of over 100 episodes from the original series. In addition, it will also feature Saved by the Bell: The College Years, including the films Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style and Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Vegas.

The said offer gives the fans a chance to recap ahead of the new series launch. Moreover, the channel allows them to reconnect to the original series before watching their old-favorites embark on their new lives.

Saved By The Bell Reboot: What is it all about?

Earlier this year, Peacock announced it was giving Saved By The Bell a sequel series. Created by Sam Bobrick, the reboot welcomes a new influx of students helmed by Zach Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar). This group of teens will navigate problems and situations students encounter at Bayside High while also teaching life lessons.

Furthermore, the new series will bring back original cast members, including Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen, and Elizabeth Berkley. The show also recently surprised fans with the announcement of Lark Voorhies’ character Lisa Turtle, joining the returning cast.

Saved By The Bell has made a mark on its teenage audiences during its prime television viewing. Hence, higher expectations for the revival is inevitable especially now that several young-adult shows are also abundant on streaming platforms. However, signature features like callbacks to The Max, Jessie’s caffeine pills, and Zack Attack still continue to create buzz and excitement.

Hence, the launch of free channel came just in time for fans to revisit and reconnect with the entire series. Indeed, Saved By The Bell channel is a wise move to gear up for the series highly-anticipated return.

Saved By The Bell premieres exclusively on Peacock on November 25.
