Jersey Shore stars Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino pulled off one of the best Halloween duo costumes this season. The two took their love for the Netflix series Cobra Kai and The Karate Kid movie as inspirations for their outfits. Apart from dressing up their parts, the two also recreated some scenes from the hit show and iconic film.

Pauly dressed up as a student from the Cobra Kai dojo while Guadagnino went as a MiyagiDo student.

Borrowing one of the most famous lines from The Karate Kid,  Pauly captions his post with, “No Mercy.”

In another social media post, Pauly shares a photo of their scene reenactment alongside the original one from the movie.

Fans can’t help but express their delight with how well the duo paid respect to a classic film and hit series. One even went as far as saying that Pauly looked like actor Ron “Ronnie” Thomas.

Pauly and Guadagnino’s Jersey Shore co-star Angelina Larangeira also expressed her fair take on the duo’s costumes.

She commented, “Lmfaoo love your costume @DJPaulyD @VINNYGUADAGNINO not so much lol.”

What can we expect from Cobra Kai Season 3?

Cobra Kai has gotten a lot more attention ever since it began streaming on Netflix. Taking its cue after The Karate Kid 1980s films, Cobra Kai looks back on rivals Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. The two have taken different paths in their lives after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. However, they reunite again when a teenager, Miguel Diaz, gets help from Lawrence to fight off a gang of bullies. This also led him to reopen the Cobra Kai Karate dojo.

William Zabka who plays Johnny Lawrence in the series says that season 3 levels up from the first two seasons. Fans can look forward to the treat especially the series’ newfound Netflix audience.

“The end of season two is a car wreck essentially,” Zabka said. “There’s a lot of pieces to put back together. There’s a lot of healing that has to happen. There’s a lot of growing that needs to happen. I’ve seen a lot of fan theories out there, and heard a lot of fan theories. Nice tries. It’s awesome. I mean, Season Three is fireworks. And I think it’s Season One and Two combined on steroids.”

Cobra Kai season 3 premieres January 8, 2021 on Netflix. Watch the series teaser trailer below.
