Netflix’s Barbarians or Barbaren will be coming back for its second season real soon.
Undoubtedly, producing period series such as this, Vikings, and Tudors takes a lot of work and research. It is also a risky move for networks to produce them because the chances of getting a lot of flak for theatrics can be taken as something offensive. As for Barbarians, it has gained the audience the show needs to be renewed for more seasons faster than producers expected.
Netflix originally intended the show to be a mini-series instead of something more long term but if the audience demands it, so it shall be done!
