Stranger Things season 4 is now in full swing and social media fans have been passionately following its every activity. Last Tuesday, spoilers containing images from on-location set circulated online with our favorite stars enjoying the grind together. As the sci-fi series goes back in action, a new face is rumored to join the cast. It is Levon Thurman-Hawke, Maya Hawke’s brother.
Levon was spotted on the set of Stranger Things as filming resumes amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 18-year-old is the second child of celebrities Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, and younger brother of actress Maya Hawke. Maya, on the other hand, landed a role in the series last year, playing Robin Buckley in season 3.
While his character remains unknown, one picture showed Levon filming alongside Joe Keery, known for his character Steve Harrington.
The newcomer rocked an 80s punk getup, with his hair dyed in flamed orange and spiked up in all angles. His aesthetic was matched with a blue denim jacket adorned in safety pins and a bandanna tied around his arm.
Netflix nor series creators have yet to confirm the news of Levon’s addition to the group. Whether his character will be seen in just one episode or will it be a recurring role remains uncertain.
What can we expect from Stranger Things Season 4?
Little information has been revealed about season 4, with most of its details still kept under wraps. What has been only confirmed is that Hopper is alive in Russia. Moreover, an official announcement on the show’s YouTube page declares that, “We’re not in Hawkins anymore.”
The good news, however, is that the whole gang will be back for the new season. From the looks spread on social media, we can expect to see a lot from the group reunited for new thrilling adventures.
When will Stranger Things Season 4 be released?
Production for Stranger Things Season 4 originally started early this year until it was halted because of the coronavirus outbreak.
The hiatus did allow for the Duffers’ and their writers to finish all of this season’s scripts.
Filming resumed in late September so if they finish filming until early next year, we can expect a late 2021 release.
Stranger Things season 4 has no confirmed release date yet, but the previous seasons can be streamed exclusively on Netflix.
