Whether you’re an avid user of TikTok or you’ve avoided the app like the plague, it’s likely you’ve heard the question on everyone’s mind: is it a “bones day” or a “no-bones day”? Thanks to TikToker Jonathan Graziano (@jongraz) and his 13-year-old pug Noodle, we now have a mindless method for daily predictions that has taken over everyone’s “For You” page.
Each and every morning, Graziano posts videos of his pug to determine whether or not Noodle has bones. Don’t worry, this term only refers to whether or not Noodle is feeling especially lazy on any given day, so much so that he doesn’t even feel like holding himself up.
When Graziano picks Noodle up out of his bed, he then places him back down to see whether or not he stands up or flops down back into his sleeping sanctuary. If he slumps straight down into bed, it’s a “no-bones” day, meaning you should allow yourself to not be all that productive for that particular day and take it easy.
On the other hand, a “bones day” means you should seize the day and be the most productive version of yourself. This prediction is rarer than a “no-bones day”, but it does happen every so often.
In fact, when Noodle had a “bones day” on Oct. 1, Graziano and his TikTok following seemed to be overjoyed. “Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! There are bones! There are bones today!” Jonathan said excitedly. “I have never seen Noodle with bones. I feel alive,” a user wrote in the comments.
Without fail, the comments on Graziano’s are always chuckle-worthy. One TikTok user wrote, “Thank God. Two bones days in a row had me exhausted,” as another said, “I can’t believe I’m at the point where I’m letting a pug decide what kind of day I’m going to have”.
