Even though the release date for the next season of The Promised Neverland hasn’t been announced yet, the producers from Encore film revealed that the live action movie will start appearing on the big screens this coming December 18.
The official poster of The Promised Neverland Live Action film shows some of the cast members and honestly, they did a pretty great job! Historically, the cast is one of the biggest factors that can make or break any adaptation – be it anime or live action.
Apart from releasing the poster, the official Twitter (@TPNManga) also gave everyone a glimpse of how the movie is being shot and gave us behind-the-scenes photos.
Here, we see some of the cast members saying hi to little Conny. The cast seems to really resemble the characters and from what we all know, the cast plays a really big factor in the success of a live-action movie. You have to appease the fans in order to get them to talk about you, buy your merchandise, make fan art and to recommend your movie to other people.
For those who are wondering, The Promised Neverland Live-Action movie will be directed by Yuichiro Hirakawa, the same brilliant mind behind ERASED, and Rookies. The main cast are as follows:
- Minami Hanabe starring in the film as Emma
- Jyo Kairi starring in the film as Ray
- Rihito Itagaki starring in the film as Norman
- Keiko Kitagawa starring in the film as Isabella or Mama
- Naomi Watanabe starring in the film as Krone
