Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker announced their engagement in an Instagram post on Sunday, and the internet went wild. While most “KUWTK” fans were busy congratulating the newly engaged couple, others couldn’t help but wonder how Kourtney’s ex-boyfriend Scott Disick would react.
Believe it or not, Scott has been MIA after the announcement, which seems to be unlike him based on his past reactions to the couple. In fact, when Travis and Kourtney were seen packing on PDA while on vacation in Italy, Scott took it as an opportunity to slide into the DMs of another one of Kourtney’s exes, Younes Bendjima.
Scott sent a picture of the couple to Younes, saying, “Yo is this chick ok!???? Brooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy.” However, Younes didn’t play into Scott’s trash talk, as he replied, “Doesn’t matter to me as long as she’s happy. PS: I ain’t your bro”.
“Keep the same energy you had about me publicly, privately,” Younes wrote on the screenshot, which is said to be in reference to Scott’s comments on him while on the “KUWTK” reunion.
Younes followed up the post with another Instagram story, captioned, “couldn’t miss this one. He been playing around for too long, tried to stay quiet and be the nice guy.”
Based on his interaction with Younes, it’s likely that Scott isn’t too pleased with Kourtney’s engagement announcement. While we haven’t heard from Scott Disick yet, at least we have a plethora of funny memes about the engagement to keep us occupied.
