In June, Kaitlynn Carter announced her pregnancy on Instagram under a photo of herself and her boyfriend Kristopher Brock. Months later, she revealed on the platform that the two have welcomed their first child together.
“The Hills: New Beginnings” star first coupled up with Kristopher in May 2020, a year after ending her marriage with Brody Jenner. Kristopher is already a father to a 6-year-old son, but their new addition to the family will be their first child together.
On Wednesday, Kaitlynn posted the big news on Instagram, writing, “Our chunky little guy, Rowan Carter Brock, was born 9/30/21 at 2:53 am, 8 lbs 4 oz. Everyone is happy and healthy and so in love.”
During an interview with “US Weekly”, the star revealed that she’s always wanted to start a family.
“For me, when I began dating again, I knew it was really important to me to find somebody that had the same goals and wanted the same things in life that I did. We got to the conversation about having kids and where we stood about all of that really quickly.” Kaitlynn also added that once she and Kristopher had been on the “same page”, they decided to “go for it”.
