Ed Sheeran Debuts His “Favorite Album” He’s Ever Made

After four long years of waiting, Ed Sheeran has released his new album, titled “=”. The highly-anticipated album features 14 tracks from the singer-songwriter, where he channels the emotions caused by life events that happened between albums.

Over these past four years, Sheeran married his longtime sweetheart Cherry Seaborn, welcomed their first child, Lyra, turned 30, and mourned the loss of his beloved mentor, Michael Gudinski. That being said, it’s clear that Sheeran put his whole heart into the new album.

Sheeran announced the debut of his album on Twitter early this morning. According to Sheeran, “+’ (pronounced equals), is his favorite album that he’s ever made.

Fans seem to agree, as they flooded his replies with support. “Blown away by @edsheeran once again, what an incredible album, can’t wait to hear it all live on tour next year,” one fan wrote, while another said, “Such a beautiful album! You’re very spiritual and so connected! Thank you for always being you and so humble”.

Sheeran’s newly-released album features his recently-released singles, “Bad Habits” and “Shivers”, along with other tracks titled, “Tides”, “First Times”, “Overpass Graffiti”, “Stop the Rain”, “Visiting Hours” and many more.

“Equals” (=) is available for streaming on Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and Deezer. Plus, the album is available for purchase as vinyl or audio CD.
