Ewan McGregor says that Hayden Christensen‘s return as Darth Vader is “the most beautiful thing of all.”
Yes, that is right! The original adult Anakin Skywalker will be returning to the Lucasfilm’s Star Wars franchise as Darth Vader in the upcoming Disney+ series, “Obi-Wan Kenobi.”
McGregor made this comment during Disney Investor Day where Christensen’s casting was announced.
Hayden Christensen was discovered by George Lucas when he was still invisible to the public eye. Things changed as soon as he took on the role of Luke and Leia’s father, Anakin Skywalker. His character in the franchise turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader.
He made his debut in Episode II: Attack of the Clones and then continued into Revenge of the Sith. We literally see Anakin’s demise and meltdown as he becomes Vader.
