After her split with co-star and boyfriend, Cole Sprouse, Riverdale actress Lili Reinhart came out as a “proud bisexual woman.”
She opened up about being nervous about telling the world of her gender preference not because she was afraid of what people may think but more so because, at the time, it seemed like it was becoming a trend among celebrities
This did not happen during an interview or a press conference but Lili Reinhart reposted a poster for a protest.
She wrote, “Although I’ve never announced it before, I am a proud bisexual woman. And I will be joining this protest today. Come join.”
In an interview with Nylon, she said,
“Now’s the time. It’s not something I’m ashamed of. Hey, you. I’m going to be at this protest for LGBTQs for BLM. Come join me.”
She also disclosed that she’d been with another girl when she was younger and that she never hid it from anyone, especially from her friends, castmates, and family.
