Katherine Langford is coming of age with Charlie Plummer in Spontaneous

Being one of the up and coming actresses of your generation, having a sister on a similar career path, and starring in a controversial show like Euphoria, Katherine Langford has successfully made a name for herself. Just like every journey of any rising star, the question is always, “What’s next?”

The answer to that age-old question, as for Katherine Langford, is having a lead role in Spontaneous. It’s a coming of age story that has a dark, comedic twist where people randomly explode. Not like bombs but balloons. In this movie, Mara falls in love with this peculiar guy named Dylan and they discover a weird pattern that leads to a mystery they have to solve.

Katherine Langford along with Charlie Plummer, Piper Perabo, Rob Huebel are only a few members of the star-studded cast. In an Instagram post, Katherine Langford (@katherinelangford) expresses her gratefulness about being able to get an interesting role and her excitement for the movie’s release.

Our movie Spontaneous is out now 💥 I had some amazing memories filming this a couple of years ago (in a world that was very different to the one we're living in now) granted this premise probably hits closer to home this year, but with some much needed satire and a heartbeat of hope at the center, it feels like the perfect time for this to come out. An enormous thank you to @briancduffield for giving this film life with his words and direction, and to the wonderfully talented cast and crew on this film, including the sweetest @charliefplummer, @hayleaulaw , @piperperabo @robhuebel @yvonneorji and legend @ronjmorton Spontaneous out now on Amazon Prime, Vudu, and in select theatres 💥
