Plot of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2
The anime series follows the story of Satoru Mikami, a thirty-something-year-old living in Tokyo. His life’s monotony and his inability to get a girlfriend is changed when a random assailant stabs him while he was out with a colleague. Satoru Mikami then asks his coworker to clean his drive if ever he does not make it, an unusual request from a dying man.
Shortly after, he wakes up and realizes that he can’t feel his arms and legs. He just got reincarnated as a ball of slime. As he explores the cave that he woke up in, he discovers his abilities – devouring pretty much anything and mimicking. Satoru then stumbles upon a sealed storm dragon, Veldora, and his clumsiness releases her from whatever spell she was under.
Veldora then thanks him and bestows upon him the name “Rimuru Tempest” and grant him protection.
