Thanks to an awesome Comic-Con@Home panel discussion, the Dragon Prince stars along with the show’s creators were able to reveal that the animated fantasy saga has been renewed by Netflix and a few details about its release date.
Dragon Prince is one of the streaming platform’s newly renewed shows and Dragon Prince fans are extremely happy about this. Let’s start talking about everything Dragon Prince Season 4-related, shall we?
Plot of Dragon Prince Season 4
The story happens in the magical yet war-torn land of Xadia and follows two young princes. The twist of the story is that they form an unusual friendship with an elven killer who was originally sent to assassinate them. Together, they embark on a journey with one mission in mind: to bring harmony and restore the people’s love for the town!
Of course, when you embark on a journey like this, it’s pretty much a given that you will be encountering battles with monsters and people alike. People, you say? Yes, because enchantment abilities cannot be used due to other complications, the people that the princes will be fighting use dark magic.
Dragon Prince Season 3 left off with Viren being brought back from the grave which means our princes will be encountering more conflict with him.
The Cast of Dragon Prince Season 4
There is no announcement with regards to the official cast yet but it’s safe to say that these characters will be returning for season 4:

So, When Will Dragon Prince Season 4 Be Released?
The stars and creators of Dragon Prince announced that Netflix has indeed renewed the show for another season last July 24, 2020 during one of the Comic-Con@Home panel discussions. The fantasy anime saga was created by Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond. The show is animated by Bardel Entertainment and produced by Wonderstorm.
The Dragon Prince animated series premiered last September 14, 2018. Since 2018, three seasons has already been aired and the show has gained a bigger audience than expected which tells us quite a bit. Although the release date for season 4 was not one of the topics that were tackled in the panel discussion, the important thing is that the show has been renewed!
Where Can I Watch the New Episodes of Dragon Prince When They Air?
Because the show is a Netflix Original, the anime series will only be streamed through the streaming giant’s website and app.
