DanMachi is an anime adaptation of a light novel created by Fujino Omori. The manga and the first two seasons were a huge success and the upcoming season is rumored to be up to par with the standard the whole franchise set.
The Plot of DanMachi Season 3
In a city called Orario, a portal for mysterious underground tunnels that lead to a dungeon that houses horrifyingly dangerous monsters. The Familias, a group of explorers and adventurers, embark on a mission to kill those dungeon creatures to obtain a crystal that can be used in making weapons that possess magical abilities in which they sell for money.
In season 3, there is a chance that viewers may see the Xena Arc. This upcoming season may also uncover some secrets and mysterious entities that lurk the dungeons.

The cast of the first two seasons’ have more characters in it. However, the goal of season 3 is to explore these three of the main characters more and to make their character arcs more visible:
