We are lucky. Why? Timothee Chalamet.
He made a HUGE splash in last year’s gorgeous film Call Me By Your Name and again in Lady Bird as Saiorse Ronan’s painfully cool boyfriend.
We love Timothee. We cannot deny our love for him.
If it wasn’t enough good news that the visionary director Denis Villenueve (Blade Runner 2049 and Arrival) is resurrecting one of the most beloved sci-fi masterpiece of all time, Frank Herbert’s Dune, dear, sweet, beautiful, fantastic Timothee Chalamet is in talks to take the lead.
This is totally NOT predictable casting and it is beyond exciting!
If your Twitter feed is bombarded with bullcrap, much like mine, please have hope. For unto us, Timothee was given and he shall be riding on a giant sandworm.
