In Allure, a woman with a tortured past finds a certain fascination with a 16-year old girl. That fascination becomes adoration, then obsession, and eventually, a hostage crisis.
Wood’s work never shies from the intense places, and this one looks like it will be difficult. As always with Wood, I look forward to it.
