The first trailer for the Jennifer Lawrence’s sexy spy thriller Red Sparrow is here. Think: Black Widow’s origin story but with a bit of Le Femme Nikita for good measure.
Red Sparrow is directed by Francis Lawrence, director of several Hunger Games movies, as well as a string of quite good, quite underrated films (Constantine, I Am Legend among them). It also has Mary-Louise Parker, so if you’re looking for reasons to be optimistic about a spy thriller with JLaw, there are plenty.
Red Sparrow comes out in March. Enjoy.
