The final trailer for War of the Planet of the Apes is here, and it by itself is probably the best piece of American filmmaking I have seen this year.

War is the final installment (“final” is never final of course) in what has become perhaps the best film franchise of the new millennium. If you haven’t seen the Rise or Dawn, be sure you do, and ready to revel in the majesty of War, which releases on July 14.
