Charade. 1963. Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, romance, thriller, comedy, directed by Stanley Donen. Perhaps its a surprise that Charade led to our most combative episode yet. Considered by some to be among the great movies of the Classical Hollywood era; others see it as an over-celebrated Star Vehicle with little to recommend it’s “Hitchcock-light” appeal. Chris ZF and Andrew go head-to-head on whether this film is a classic or is better off left in the past.
