Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters project was announced last year and it created some commotion among those possessive types and afraid of the ladies types because Feig’s plan was to cast women in the roles of ghostbusters. Kristin Wiig and Melissa McCarthy are basically no-brainers and Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon have both been bright spots in an otherwise lackluster season of Saturday Night Live. It’s great to see a group of sketch-comedy pros get the gig, given the origins of Ghostbusters.
