On Game of Thrones, he plays a badass who’s on a quest for vengeance, and she was recently seen smiling as some seriously bad shit was going down—but Lena Headey and Pedro Pascal are uber-buds in real life, and seriously, how fucking cute are they? I ship for these two so hard. (We bring you the serious issues here at The Stake.)

For his part, Pedro Pascal seems to truly love Lena Headey. He recently did an AMA on Reddit, where he took the opportunity to gush about his co-star.

Lena is one of my favorite persons. And she (in life) is so funny and so smart, such a good person, a good friend and a good mother, I think everyone on that set and anyone who comes in contact with her develops an instant crush. Talk about male or female, you’re going to get a crush on her easy.

Also, in a recent issue of Hunger magazine, Lena actually interviews Pedro about his time on the show. I haven’t read the whole thing, but I enjoyed a tidbit where Pedro admitted to Lena that he “kissed your ass” when he was first on set, and Lena fired back that it must have worked, because they’re friends now.

Why do I share this with you? I don’t know. I just love it, that’s all. On a show as heavy as Game of Thrones, it’s good to know that the cast is full of decent people who, when they’re given the opportunity, have nothing but nice things to say about each other. That’s pretty awesome.
